Ray absolutely slammed everyone! Unbelievable how strong he came on down the finish. Kudos to Mark Nesdoly and the EHG for getting this thing off the ground and donating the awards. Already looking forward to next year!

I agree with you Duncan. Fat Tire is cleaner, crisper and has a slight c-hop character. However, I would say Fat Tire and Thirsty Beaver are both tasty amber ales that are more toasty/malty than hoppy (ex North Coast Red Seal). Half Pints Bulldog Amber would be another similar beer, though not...

This is what I was doing: Collecting 6.25 gallons in a 7.5 gallon pot, and then collect another 1.25 - 3.75 gallons in a 5 gallon pot. I would do at least a 90 min boil, only adding hops to the 7.5 gallon pot, and topping it up with wort from the 5 gallon pot every 15-30 minutes. Whether it wa...
