That's funny, I live in dalhousie and thought the Evanston co-op had a better selection. Too funny, it's been right under my nose. Thanks for the update.

Zyn in Inglewood also has a huge selection, focusing on craft beer - very little Molson/Labatt/Keith's-Bud/Miller/Coors there. Worth a checking out for sure.

While their beer selection may be better than the average liquor store, I am unimpressed by their staff and their prices.

They won't have my business, especially after the way they treated our club when we politely approached them for a a small prize donation for the Cowtown Homebrew Roundup.

Zyn the Wine Market in the old Molson building in Inglewood has a very good selection of beers, including a few things I haven't seen in other places, and things for sale in individual bottles that I've only seen in 6-packs elsewhere. They keep banker's hours, but they're worth checking out. Prices seem reasonable, as well.

I recently discovered Chinook Liquor - a small place just south of Bubbles car wash opposite the Chinook Mall, at 6008 Macleod.

A very unassuming place, it certainly does not impress from the outside - but the beer selection was wide & varied - not huge; but as many imports as domestics. When I buy beer, it's my habit to try things I've never had before - and I usually only find a couple of brands at any given place.

Here, I spent $300 on about 15 new finds (the downside is that almost everything imported, is sold in standard 6-packs, so now my beer fridge remains packed with those I didn't like so much... :<)

But - for the true afficianado, it's worth a stop while driving up/down Macleod.
