I just picked up my malt from the Vineyard, but the gentlemen over there didn't really know which malt was which. I'm guessing the larger quantity is the pilsner and the smaller quantity is the munich malt. Is this correct? Do we know the quantity of each?

Cheers,

Amanda

That's correct. Although I haven't weighed it out yet myself, I was informed that it was 5 kg Pilsner and 1 kg Munich. Hope that helps!

Ooooooooooohhhh...Duncan, you're a pro. Thanks for the update on the measurements for the ingredients. I'll double-check the weight when I brew tomorrow, and God help you if you're off by so much as a gram! ...looks like I can bump my OG a bit now...fantastic.

Thanks Jeremy. It takes a lot of training to read the group email that Neil was kind enough to send.....unless of course you didn't make the list. :)

We successfully jacked yet another another thread buddy!

You better believe it took a lot of training to read that email - twelve or so years of public education, from what I understand.

We better watch out hijacking- the US might put us on a 'no-fly' list...

...booooo...

That should have read "our," not "our." So much for all those years of education...

And the education of our youth...you spelled your correction the same Mr.Cowan (the high school teacher).

Okay...so screw you and your ability to read. I suppose this is why they now frown upon teachers drinking on the job. Apparently, I am completely incapable of drinking savage amounts of beer and posting messages on the internet. At least I was able to notice my error, even if I was unable to correct it. I call for a battle, Highlander-style.

I hope my Scottish genes help me on this one...
