Hey all,

I am new to homebrewing and I have a few questions. I have a kegerator at home so I am looking to keg the beer that I brew. Cornelius kegs are apparently the way to go, does anyone know where I can find a couple to buy?

I am currently extract brewing, but adding my own hops & steeping specialty grains. I am considering trying all grain brewing. I am unfamiliar with the process. Is there chance you can point me in the right direction for this?

Thanks,

Matt Slade

Keep your eye on Kijiji or other buy/sell web sites for Corny kegs.

I think the best place to start with all grain is to watch a few videos about it on youtube. This allows you to see the process in action. Two other good websites are http://www.howtobrew.com/ and http://www.homebrewtalk.com/. The pod casts at http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/ are quite entertaining with some good brewing advice mixed in.

Also, come to a meeting and ask questions.

You can buy corny kegs from www.morebeer.com They are roughly $60 incl shipping to Calgary from the USA. I got a refurbed one from them and 4 others from a guy in Ontario. They are currently hard to find. Wish I could have gotten in on the $25 ones from Princess Auto last year(ish).

One thing I never thought of before is maybe calling resteraunts/ bars in some of the smaller towns around Calgary who may still have some kicking around.
