Hello,

I brew for about 18 years and would like to switch most production from bottling to 5 Liter mini kegs with an Avanti (type) dispencer.

Where can I find new empty 5 L kegs in southern Alberta?

Who sells the Avanti dipencer in southern Alberta?

Will be in Calgary next Tuesday. I hope for help.

Cheers, Joerg

Joerg,

I know I have seen the 5l kegs in the Edmonton Homebrew shop, but I haven't seen them in Calgary at all. If you are able to make a trip up north I would give the Southside Brew Crew a try.

Thanks Jake,

I am searching for a while already without much reward. Anyone else using 5L mini kegs in this round?

All the best for the New Year,

Joerg K.

Hey Bud, I am new here, but am after the same thing you are. Any luck finding the mini kegs? Maybe we can help each other out. I would like 2-3 of them, how many are you after?

Hi Keith G.

The best I had was a price from Germany for €4.90 @ plus about €48 to ship about 20 kegs.

This is what I got from The Beer Essentials [order@thebeeressentials.com]

The cost for shipping 20 five liter kegs ( Item# 7314) will cost around $123.19 USD. There will be 2 different boxes due to weight and size of shipment. Also, the kegs do not come with the filler rubber bung. We do have the filler bungs in stock, item #7316 which sell for $1.75.

I changed back to stay with bottles.

Best regards, Jörg

OK Jorg, thanks for the info and quick reply ; ) I will keep my eyes open for any of them, and will let you know if I have any luck. I will use bottles, until I find a reasonable way to get a few mini kegs ; ) Thanks again ; )
