Changes were implemented today in the way that the retail hops are offered to the public. The Vineyard has purchased a new fridge that is on the sales floor which will allow us to keep all our single ounce hop packages in a temperature controlled and UV impermeable environment that you the customer can access to make your selections. The new 8oz packages which are vacuum sealed in mylar are stored in the freezer above the single ounce portions.
In the next week our selection of hops will increase as we start to see some of the new crop varieties showing up. We have increased freezer capacity in the back end to accommodate our expanding selection. Our Focus this fall will be on US hops as quality and pricing this year is very good. As fall progresses into winter we will endeavour to bring in some English and German noble hops but early indications are that these will be some what more costly so selection will be limited. Most hops presently are $2.50/oz by the single and $2.00/oz when buying the 8oz vacuum sealed pouches.

Its not quite real time yet but it will give you a good idea on what grain, hops, and yeast are available and the last time the list was updated.
