Does anyone have a surplus grain mill to sell? I am new to AG brewing and have brewed 2 batches with grain I bought crushed, but would like to take another step.

There is a wholesaler who travels to calgary on a regular basis that is willing to work out a deal if enough are interested in purchasing a mill. It is the "Barley Crusher" (TM) 7 pound hopper. He has offered me one at 160, but is willing to work out a price for a larger order. Are you interested? Anyone else?

I just purchased a Barley Crusher and received it in the mail on Friday. It was $150 for the 7lbs mill and shipping, but then I paid another $40 for duty and tax. So $160 is a good deal!

Where were you two weeks ago. :)

The Vineyard will be stocking the JSP Maltmill in the very near future. It is the one that we have been using here for years so feel confident after many thousands of pounds crushed that is a rock solid performer. Pricing will be around the 150 mark. Maltmills have a lifetime warranty. Once we nail down our costs we will announce under the beer making section over at www.thevineyard.ca/beermaking but expect us to have them in stock in the next two weeks or so

Well by the time all was said and done we got the mills in. I will post a page up about them at thevinyard.ca/maltmill about mid week which will include a few pictures. These are pretty heavy duty mills that can easily be hooked up to an electric motor, run off a drill or even hand cranked. They have 2 in X 10in knurled rollers (2). They will sell at $198.00 and of course yeastwranglers get 10% off that price.

I brought in 4 of them and two are already spoken for so if your interested fire me and email. neil@thevineyard.ca and I will put one aside for you. If there is enough interest we can always order more :-)
