St. Fezztus Ale (Belgian Strong Ale) – Michael ‘Fezz’ Nazarec

Boil time:

60 mins

Ingredients:

8 lb pale malt

1 lb wheat malt

1 lb light Munich

1 lb dark Munich

4 oz Special B

1 lb dark candi sugar – boil for 60 mins

1 lb amber DME – boil for 60 mins

1 oz Chinook (12% AA) hop pellets – boil for 60 mins

1/2 oz Liberty (4.5% AA) hop pellets – boil for 15 mins

Wyeast 3787 Trappist Ale yeast

 

Mash schedule:

Single infusion @ 150 F for 60 mins
